• insisting on holding hands while crossing the street, and then not letting go once they make it to the other side
• insisting loudly that everyone in the pub smell john’s hair because it’s just spectacular, the way it surpasses every cologne and perfume in the world
• going to kiss john but missing his mouth completely
• multiple times
• telling every person who comes within a three metres of them that ‘sorry, no. you cannot buy me a drink because im here with joohn. right there, in the jumper. have i told you about his jumpers?’
• nuzzling john’s neck while recounting exactly what he’d like john to do to him when they get home
• doing that with a lisp
• proclaiming that john’s such a gentleman every time he opens a door for sherlock
• getting really sleepy and leaning against john as they wind and stagger their way home
