Scenes I’d like to see:
John in the kitchen in his wee robe, yawning and making coffee, Sherlock shuffling out of the bedroom wrapped in a sheet, scratching his head, John handing Sherlock a cup of coffee, Sherlock holding it in both hands, standing close to John, resting his head on John’s shoulder.
Sherlock throwing himself around the place, BORED!, John sighing, folding his newspaper in half, tossing it down on the table, holding his arms open, Sherlock flopping down onto the couch with his head in John’s lap, John running his fingers through his hair.
The camera panning over rumpled sheets and pillows and the bumps and lumps of bodies sound asleep, a mobile phone ringing, John’s hand reaching out, a muffled, “’Lo? Ah. Okay. Hold on,” passing the phone over, “Sherlock, it’s Lestrade, locked room triple murder.”
Sherlock and John making eyes at each other over a dead body. Lestrade sighing and rubbing his hand over his face.
John and Sherlock giggling like schoolboys in the lab, Stamford smiling and shaking his head fondly at them.
John tugging the scarf tight around Sherlock’s neck, pulling him in by the lapels of his coat, shaking his head, looking up, “We’ve talked about this. Next time wait for me, you git.”
Angelo bringing a candle and bottle of wine, Sherlock and John toasting, John saying, “Afghanistan or Iraq?” Sherlock answering, “Happy anniversary, John.”
Sherlock and John sitting across from each other, reading, the fire dying down, John getting up, stretching, saying, “That’s me off to bed, then,” and Sherlock looking up, putting his finger in his book to mark his page, smiling, so soft, answering, “I’ll be in in a bit.”
